- One Calibrated Pressure, Every Shot: A 30LB calibrated spring compresses to one exact load and answers with an audible click the moment you reach it, so the tamp is identical whether you are rushing a morning shot or dialing in slowly.
- Dial the Pressure Down for Light Roasts: A second 20LB spring rides in the box beside the fitted 30LB one. Unscrew, drop it in, done — no tools, no parts to lose, and a softer tamp whenever the coffee asks for one.
- Flat Base Squares Itself: The flat stainless base and balanced weight sit level against the basket without wrist correction, packing the bed uniformly to cut the channels that let water escape unextracted.
- Warm-Grain Walnut Handle: A solid walnut grip meets a precision-machined stainless base, hand-finished and warm in the palm, with grain that deepens over time. Ships with the 30LB spring installed and the 20LB spare in the box.
