About This
- For 58.5mm or Larger Basket Inner Diameter Only: This calibrated coffee tamper is designed for IMS premium baskets, VST baskets and specialty OEM 58.5mm portafilter baskets. Please confirm your basket inner diameter is 58.5mm or larger before ordering. If unsure or running standard OEM baskets, see our 58mm Echo variant with 58.3mm base instead
- Calibrated Click at 30lb with Swappable 20lb Spring: Press until the audible click confirms consistent 30lb tamping force on every shot. A spare 20lb spring ships in the box for lighter roasts or delicate pucks — swap in seconds without tools to customize your espresso tamping pressure to match your grind and roast profile
- Self Leveling Tamping for Even Puck Compression: The auto leveling mechanism adjusts to your basket angle and applies uniform pressure across the entire coffee bed. Eliminates side tamping and channeling, delivering balanced extraction with rich crema and clean flavor from your espresso machine shot after shot
- Solid Walnut Handle with Polished Stainless Steel Base: Hand-finished walnut develops a warm patina with daily use, and every piece carries unique grain character. The precision-machined stainless steel flat base provides smooth, reliable contact for consistent tamping across your 58.5mm basket

Questions before you choose
How do I plan a coffee preparation setup?
Start with your brewing method and the amount you prepare. Compare the required pieces with your counter and storage space.
What should I compare on a grinder listing?
Check the listed adjustment, capacity and intended brewing methods. Do not assume all grinders work the same way.
How do I check filter and vessel fit?
Compare the specified filter shape, size and vessel dimensions. Similar photos or names do not establish that parts fit together.
How should I clean coffee preparation items?
Follow the instructions supplied for each item. Check any stated removable-part or dishwasher guidance rather than assuming it applies.
