About This
- The Bulk Storage Cornerstone: Finally, a jar that understands your Costco hauls. The massive 5-liter (1.3-gallon) capacity easily holds an entire 5lb bag of flour, over 10lbs of rice, a large bag of pet food, or a 2-3lb bag of whole coffee beans. This set of two establishes the foundation for a truly organized and rodent-proof pantry.
- The Square Advantage: 20% More Efficient: Stop wasting precious pantry real estate. The sleek, square design fits flush against each other and into corners, utilizing up to 20% more space than round jars. This creates a stunning wall of organization with a charming farmhouse-inspired look. Crystal-clear glass lets you see exactly what's inside at a glance — no more guessing if you're running low on pantry staples.
- Pro-Level Fermentation Crock: This is the large-format vessel that serious home fermenters need. The 5-liter capacity is ideal for making a large batch of sauerkraut, kimchi, or pickles. It's also the perfect size for a continuous brew Kombucha setup (F1), giving your SCOBY ample room to thrive.
- Heavy-Duty Build, Designed for the Pantry: Crafted from thick, heavy-duty soda-lime glass, these jars are built to handle the rigors of bulk storage. Unlike plastic containers that absorb odors and discolor over time, premium glass is BPA-free, non-toxic, and won't retain food smells — a permanent upgrade for your health-conscious kitchen. Please note: this glass is designed for room temperature storage and is NOT suitable for extreme temperature changes (thermal shock), microwave use, or hot liquids.
- Pro-Tip for Active Fermentation: For projects that produce gas like kombucha or sauerkraut, simply remove the silicone gasket to allow pressure to escape safely. Re-apply the gasket for a fully airtight seal when storing. This vital dual-functionality transforms your jar from a storage vault to a safe, breathable fermenter.
